Brier award,&nbsp; honors the&nbsp; memory of long time CQ Novice Editor Herb Brier.&nbsp; This award is presented in the spirit of effective, caring Amateur Radio instruction. The ARRL and the&nbsp; Lake County Amateur Radio Club, co-sponsor this award in Herb&#8217;s memory. The&nbsp;award is bestowed by the ARRL to recognize the very best in volunteer Amateur&nbsp; Radio instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Herb Briar Award<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Herb S. Brier, long time CQ Novice Editor, represented the sprit of effective,<br>caring Amateur Radio instruction. The ARRL and the Lake County Amateur Radio&nbsp; Club, co-sponsor this award in Herb&#8217;s memory. The award is bestowed by the ARRL&nbsp; to recognize the very best in volunteer Amateur Radio instructions. The name&nbsp; of the award is the \u201cARRL Herb S.
